We first published such an article two years ago - and, despite a fairly rich selection of smartphones, we still had to squirm around like a snake to find good options that meet the main condition: the smartphone must be compatible with LTE networks. Now it’s the other way around: to find a device that works exclusively with 3G, you have to try very hard, and the suffering associated with the slowness of cheap hardware platforms can, if not be eliminated, then at least be moderated. Progress is inevitable – as is the invasion of Chinese brands.
However, our selection also includes brands that are not exactly Chinese. There is also a choice in terms of preference for certain characteristics. Do you want more memory? Or a more or less decent camera? Or maybe a large display? There are options. Another thing is that it is almost impossible to combine all this by paying 10 thousand rubles or less. Although, again, the key word is “almost.” Go!
⇡#Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus
- Operating system: Android 7.1.2 Nougat (MIUI proprietary shell).
- Display: 6.0 inches, IPS, 2160 × 1080.
- Platform: Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 2 GHz).
- RAM: 3/4 GB.
- Flash memory: 32/64 GB.
- Camera: 12 MP.
- Two SIM cards, the second slot is combined with a slot for a memory card.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: from 9,000 rubles for the 32 GB version (gray). from 13,000 rubles (official).
Why you should buy: large Full HD display, metal body, excellent performance, decent camera.
What can stop it: not always stable quality, unofficial supplies (at a low price), no NFC.
We start with the main character of the collection, for whom the word “almost” was used. This is, of course, the Redmi smartphone, which manages to combine good performance (a similar platform is installed in other smartphones for 25 thousand), a decent camera, a metal body with a fingerprint scanner and a fashionable elongated display with Full HD resolution with a diagonal of six inches. Essentially, a gentleman's set for a modern smartphone of any level. It’s comfortable to use, it’s not a shame to put it on the table (or even vice versa - in certain circles you will be considered one of your own due to your intelligence and frugality), and the shortcomings are not noticeable.
But they also exist. To fully enter the club, there is not enough NFC, support for the 20th LTE band and, of course, official status. You have to buy in China or from “gray” suppliers - and don’t rely on a guarantee. The main thing is to check that it is a global version and not a Chinese one, then you won’t need to reflash it.
Alternative: Xiaomi Redmi 6 A. This is an official version on the same topic - newer (with Android 8.0), with a smaller screen (5.45 inches) and “thinner” (1440 × 720), as well as with a weaker platform (Mediatek Helio A22), but without the danger of running into problems for the Chinese version. Another obvious hit, doomed to success in our (and not only) market.
Vivo Y81
- Operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo (proprietary Funtouch OS shell).
- Display: 6.2 inches, IPS, 1520 × 720.
- Platform: MediaTek Helio P22 (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 2 GHz).
- RAM: 3 GB.
- Flash memory: 32 GB.
- Camera: 13 MP.
- Dual SIM cards, memory card slot.
- Average price: 9,700 rubles.
Why you should buy: a very large display, small frames and a fashionable (albeit slightly ridiculous due to the notch) design, official supplies.
What can stop it: no fingerprint scanner or NFC, plastic case.
The victory in the “Debut of the Year” nomination goes to a longtime guest of all kinds of top sales - Vivo. Previously, the company was there solely for its domestic merits in China, but now it has finally begun its global expansion. There hasn't been much success with middle-class smartphones yet, but in the budget segment the offer with the Y81 looks very nice. This is not the most powerful, but probably the most fashionable smartphone for the money. The display is huge, but with a low resolution for its 6.2 inches. The body is thin, but plastic. There is no fingerprint scanner. But there is a lot of both RAM and non-volatile memory.
In principle, the Vivo Y81 is made of similar compromises, but the positive qualities in it, in my opinion, outweigh the negative ones. And there is an excellent bonus - the smartphone is officially sold in Russia, the price indicated is “white”. No orders from China or dancing with the firmware.
Alternative: Alcatel 3 V. Another smartphone with a large display - in this case, six inches and without a monobrow, but with Full HD resolution. Another nice compromise option: in this case you will have to sacrifice performance - the Mediatek MT8735 platform does not shine at all. And the memory is no longer 3/32 GB, but 2/16 GB. But there is a fingerprint scanner.
Honor 7A Pro
- Operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo (EMUI proprietary shell).
- Display: 5.7 inches, IPS, 1440 × 720.
- Platform: Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores [4 × 1.4 GHz + 4 × 1.1 GHz]).
- RAM: 2 GB.
- Flash memory: 16 GB.
- Camera: 13 MP.
- Two SIM cards and a separate slot for a memory card.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: 8,990 rubles.
Why you should buy: well-known brand, official supplies.
What can stop it: generally not brilliant characteristics, plastic body, no NFC.
A pleasant smartphone in almost all respects: with the current version of Android and, probably, the fastest shell for it, with a very good design (even with a plastic body), a fingerprint scanner and a good brand reputation - it’s more difficult to run into defects when buying Honor than, for example, when choosing Xiaomi. The lack of flash memory is compensated by a microSD memory card placed in a separate slot.
But if you are not a “huafan” (yes, that’s the official name of fans of the brand), then this offer will not seem so tempting to you - it’s difficult to prefer the 7A Pro to the same Redmi 5 Plus. But with Redmi 6A, which is also officially sold at a similar price, it competes quite well in the same category. Which of these two devices to choose is already a debatable question, and I will not undertake to answer it directly.
Alternative: Honor
7 A. The same cabbage soup, but pour in thinner. The screen is smaller, the design is more primitive, the Mediatek platform is one and a half thousand cheaper.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 64GB – a solid option for games in 2021
Next in line is last year's mobile phone from the Chinese, Xiaomi Mi Max 2, which, despite being slightly behind compared to this year's mobile phones, is suitable for those who like to play. The phone is available in three shades - white, black and gold. It features a capacious battery and a powerful processor that runs mobile games in a jiffy. The cost of the device is 13 thousand rubles.
OS | Android 7.0 |
Display | Diagonal 6.44 inches, 16 million colors, |
Camera | Front – 5 MP, Rear – 12 MP |
CPU | 8-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 |
RAM | 4 GB |
Inner memory | 64 GB |
Micro SD slot | Yes, maximum 128 GB |
Battery | 5300 mAh |
Connection | 3G, LTE |
Navigation | Glonass, GPS |
Dual SIM support | Eat |
NFC module | Eat |
Fingerprint's scanner | Eat |
Pros:
- An excellent gaming smartphone with a powerful processor, a capacious battery and a wide screen;
- Large amount of internal memory for this price segment;
- Stylish metal case;
- Fast NFC.
The main drawback is considered to be the lagging behind of the model, since Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was released in 2021.
Thus, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an option for those who do not follow the fashion for frameless screens and dual cameras; this is a truly worthy device that has remained popular for 2 years.
⇡#Moto G5s
- Operating system: Android 7.1 Nougat.
- Display: 5.2 inches, IPS, 1920 × 1080.
- Platform: Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores [4 × 1.4 GHz + 4 × 1.1 GHz]).
- RAM: 3 GB.
- Flash memory: 32 GB.
- Camera: 16 MP.
- Dual SIM cards, memory card slot.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: from 9,500 rubles.
Why it’s worth buying: original design, excellent build, good camera, pure Android, NFC.
What can stop it: the performance is quite ordinary, the display is a bit small by today's standards.
The shadow favorite of the rating is last year’s smartphone from the Lenovo/Motorola combination, which is going through hard times. One of the conditional exceptions to the Chinese trend. Conditional - because Lenovo, which owns the Moto brand, is a Chinese company. Exceptions - because both in philosophy and in approach this is not a typical smartphone for China. Quite ordinary characteristics here are combined with original ideas in the interface, and the metal case did not interfere with installing NFC in this gadget. Yes, you can use it to pay for purchases - this is a very rare option for cheap phones.
In terms of approach to design and dimensions, this is more like a smartphone from 2016: a small 16:9 screen with large frames and a fingerprint scanner underneath. But its resolution is Full HD. In terms of pixel density, no one can really argue with the Moto G5s. And yes, of course, this is pure Android!
Alternative: Elephone P9000.
But this, to be honest, is a dubious alternative on formal grounds. A little-known brand with unstable product quality - but with 4 GB of RAM, NFC and a not very large Full HD display.
Motorola Moto E5 16GB – a stylish model that will help you stand out
Next, the Motorola Moto E5 hits the low-cost smartphone list. The main feature of the mobile phone is its unique design, which will seem unique compared to modern smartphones. Otherwise the phone is average. The price is 10 thousand rubles, available in two colors - gold and black.
OS | Android 8 |
Display | Diagonal 5.7 inches, 16 million colors |
Camera | Front – 5 MP, Rear – 13 MP |
CPU | Quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917, 1400 MHz |
RAM | 2 GB |
RAM | 16 GB |
Micro SD slot | Yes, maximum 256 GB |
Battery | 4000 mAh |
Connection | 3G, LTE |
Navigation | Glonass, GPS |
Dual SIM support | Eat |
NFC module | No |
Fingerprint's scanner | No |
The main advantages of the device are as follows:
- Powerful battery, with average operation the phone works up to 30 hours, in standby mode 500 hours;
- Large screen with good color rendering;
- Unique design;
- An excellent option for a small child.
Flaws:
- Plastic body that looks cheap;
- Lack of NFC and fingerprint scanner;
- Small amount of internal memory.
Thus, the Motorola Moto E5 is not a bad budget phone, but not the best either, an average model, suitable for a child or an elderly person.
⇡#Nokia 3.1
- Operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo.
- Display: 5.2 inches, IPS, 1440 × 720.
- Platform: MediaTek MT6750N (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of 1.5 GHz).
- RAM: 2/3 GB.
- Flash memory: 16/32 GB.
- Camera: 13 MP.
- Dual SIM cards, memory card slot.
- Average price: 9,000 rubles for the 16 GB version.
Why you should buy: famous brand, nice design, NFC, pure Android.
What can stop it: a simple filling, a low-resolution display.
But this is a real “alternative” to the Moto G5s located above - with a small screen, NFC and from the legendary brand. The characteristics, however, are even less attractive, especially in the 2/16 GB version, and only this one falls into the designated price segment.
Due to the latest version of pure Android (and quickly updated), the “damage” from a weak hardware platform is reduced - using Nokia 3.1 will be moderately pleasant. This feeling is reinforced by a very nice design, due to which, in fact, the smartphone made it into our rating.
Alternative: Sony Xperia L1 .
Instead of a completely fresh Nokia, there’s last year’s budget Xperia. The exchange, at first glance, is so-so, but in essence they are very similar: the platform of the Sony smartphone is even weaker, it has the same amount of permanent memory and RAM. And there is about the same amount of charm: L1 has preserved the traditions of the brand, this is the very “building block” that Xperia was for many years in a row - and which it ceased to be quite recently.
Huawei P10 Lite 3/32GB
A very stylish and at the same time inexpensive device from Huawei, which is one of the world leaders in the smartphone market. This device cannot be called very cheap, but it is really budget-friendly if you compare its cost with many competitors. Meanwhile, Huawei P10 Lite has several important features.
The first one is immediately noticeable - it's stunning appearance. The smartphone is made of glass and steel, but the tone is set by extremely unusual color shades. Take a look at the back cover - impressive, isn't it?
Display diagonal - 5.2 inches, resolution - Full HD, processor - HiSilicon Kirin 658, RAM - 3 GB, built-in - 32 GB, memory card support is available.
Huawei P10 Lite is a smartphone with a good camera, fast software and a reasonable price.
- Screen diagonal: 5.2 inches
- Screen resolution: 1920×1080
- Weight: 146 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: HiSilicon Kirin 658
- Memory capacity: 32 GB
- RAM capacity: 3 GB
- Battery capacity: 3000 mAh
- Camera: 12 MP
- Memory card support: yes
- Support for 4G networks: yes
⇡#Meizu M6s
- Operating system: Android 7.1.2 Nougat (proprietary Flyme OS shell).
- Display: 5.7 inches, IPS, 1440 × 720.
- Platform: Samsung Exynos 7872 (two ARM Cortex-A73 cores at 2.0 GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 1.6 GHz).
- RAM: 3 GB.
- Flash memory: 32 GB.
- Camera: 16 MP.
- Dual SIM cards, memory card slot.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: from 9,600 rubles (unofficial deliveries). 13,900 rubles (official deliveries).
Why you should buy: Excellent performance, metal body.
What can stop it: there is no NFC, for less than ten thousand you can only find smartphones supplied through unofficial channels.
In the current family of inexpensive Meizu models, the devil himself will break his leg - there are a lot of M6 variations: Note, T, just M6. Here we will focus on perhaps the most competitive version s. It attracts primarily with its hardware platform: Samsung Exynos 7872 is a serious thing. If you like to play something demanding, then you should seriously pay attention to the Meizu M6s, especially since the RAM is not bad here either.
And what can stop you is already stated above. Alas, the “official” M6s is noticeably more expensive. The story is the same as with Redmi 5 Plus, with which it can compete in terms of performance and design (the blue version is good), but to which it is inferior in terms of screen (both diagonal and resolution are smaller). The cameras are approximately equal.
Alternative: Meizu M6 Note . A smartphone that meets our price conditions with even greater difficulty - and stands out primarily for its camera, Full HD display and very good battery life. The combination of a 5.5-inch panel and a 4000 mAh battery is excellent!
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X 3/32GB
Let's talk about inexpensive 5.5-inch devices and here again we have Xiaomi as one of the leaders in inexpensive smartphones.
In terms of design, it is similar to the Redmi 4X, but the entire body is different, and the specifications are slightly different. Thus, this model received a higher resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM (in this version). The cameras are similar, there is a fingerprint scanner, and a good 4100 mAh battery.
Most importantly, the Redmi Note 4X is only slightly more expensive than its “little brother” Redmi 4X, so if you want a smartphone with a larger display, we recommend taking a closer look at the Note 4X.
- Screen diagonal: 5.5 inches
- Screen resolution: 1920×1080
- Weight: 175 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 625
- Memory capacity: 32 GB
- RAM capacity: 3 GB
- Battery capacity: 4100 mAh
- Camera: 13 MP
- Memory card support: yes
- Support for 4G networks: yes
⇡#Samsung Galaxy J4 (2018)
- Operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo (proprietary shell).
- Display: 5.5 inches, AMOLED, 1280 × 720.
- Platform: Samsung Exynos 7570 (four ARM Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of 1.4 GHz).
- RAM: 2 GB.
- Flash memory: 16 GB.
- Camera: 13 MP.
- Dual SIM cards, memory card slot.
- Average price: 9,200 rubles.
Why you should buy: famous brand, AMOLED display.
What can stop it: mediocre performance, no fingerprint scanner or NFC, plastic case.
This option is strictly for fans of Samsung or very famous brands in general – as well as for those who know a lot about mobile displays. In this category, almost no one puts AMOLED in their smartphones (almost - because see the alternative below). But only the Korean god of marketing knows why Samsung doesn’t put an NFC module in its budget models. The Chinese at least have an effective explanation - in the Celestial Empire it is simply not needed, all mobile payments there are made using QR codes. But the Koreans have marketing, marketing and more marketing. If you want a cheap phone, be patient.
As a bonus, the front camera here is equipped with a flash, and the main aperture is ƒ/1.9. A record for this collection.
Alternative: Highscreen Fest Pro . We sacrifice a big name and get another smartphone with a screen based on organic light-emitting diodes. The diagonal, however, is five inches - now this can only cause attacks of nostalgia. In terms of performance, the Fest Pro is comparable to the Galaxy J4 (2018), but it has more memory – 3/32 GB. And it is also 2,500 rubles cheaper.
Xiaomi Redmi 4X 32GB
One of the best “state employees” costing up to 10 thousand rubles. If you really want, you can find this smartphone even cheaper.
It is distinguished by its low cost, as well as the presence of features that are often not found even in much more expensive smartphones. First of all, it is a metal case, although there are plastic inserts on it for antennas. The 5-inch display has HD resolution, the smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, in this version it has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. Very capacious battery - 4100 mAh.
We also note the presence of a fingerprint scanner, a memory card slot and, finally, a black tint to the body.
- Screen diagonal: 5 inches
- Screen resolution: 1280×720
- Weight: 150 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 435
- Memory capacity: 32 GB
- RAM capacity: 3 GB
- Battery capacity: 4100 mAh
- Camera: 13 MP
- Memory card support: yes
- Support for 4G networks: yes
⇡#ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1)
- Operating system: Android 7.0 Nougat (proprietary ZenUI shell).
- Display: 5.7 inches, IPS, 2160 × 1080.
- Platform: Mediatek MT6750T (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores (4 × 1.5 GHz + 4 × 1.0 GHz)).
- RAM: 3 GB.
- Flash memory: 32 GB.
- Camera: 16 + 8 MP.
- Two SIM cards and a separate slot for a memory card.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: from 9,700 rubles.
Why it’s worth buying: excellent battery life, good dual camera, metal body, Full HD display.
What can stop it: no NFC, thick body, mediocre performance.
Come on, it's cheaper! Since January, when we reviewed the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1), the smartphone has dropped up to six thousand rubles and fit exactly within the scope of our “Guide”. For this money, the offer is really excellent. First of all, due to a really decent camera (perhaps the best among those presented here) and a powerful battery, the smartphone is quite capable of lasting a couple of days without recharging.
It doesn't shine, but it has enough memory. It’s especially pleasing that the proposed 32 GB can be expanded using a microSD card without sacrificing a second SIM card. There are few such devices today.
Alternative: BQ BQ-5510 Strike Power Max 4 G. There are no more frills here like a Full HD display or dual camera. Only autonomy and cheapness, only hardcore. 5000 milliamp-hours is half that of the ever-memorable Oukitel K10000, but Strike Power uses them much more efficiently. And the quality is much more stable.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017)
Samsung models are traditionally more expensive than their Chinese counterparts, but the demand for them is still very high - due to the quality of workmanship, the well-known brand, good characteristics, as well as the appearance of the device itself.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) looks very good and is definitely much more expensive than its cost. On the back of the case you can see a metal cover, which, however, cannot be removed - the case is non-separable. There is a flash under the camera eye.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has a 5-inch display, HD resolution, Exynos 7570 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. But here’s what’s really interesting: the slots for a memory card and two SIM cards are separate, and not hybrid, as in most cases. This means that you can work with two SIM cards and a memory card at the same time.
Android version is 7.0, good cameras, but, alas, there is no fingerprint scanner here.
- Screen diagonal: 5 inches
- Screen resolution: 1280×720
- Weight: 142 g
- Number of SIM cards: 2
- Processor: Exynos 7570
- Memory capacity: 16 GB
- RAM capacity: 2 GB
- Battery capacity: 2400 mAh
- Camera: 13 MP
- Memory card support: yes
- Support for 4G networks: yes
⇡#HOMTOM S8
- Operating system: Android 7.0 Nougat.
- Display: 5.7 inches, 1440 × 720.
- Platform: Mediatek MT6750T (eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores [4 × 1.5 GHz + 4 × 1.0 GHz]).
- RAM: 4 GB.
- Flash memory: 64 GB.
- Camera: 16 + 5 MP.
- Two SIM cards (nano-SIM + micro-SIM), memory card slot.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- Average price: 9,500 rubles.
Why it’s worth buying: the design is almost like the Samsung Galaxy S8, full of memory, dual camera.
What can stop you: unstable quality, mediocre performance, unofficial supplies, no NFC.
What kind of rating is this without a noname brand offering an “inexpensive copy of the flagship.” In this case, the Samsung Galaxy S8 was a carbon copy, only without the bent edges. Yes, we are absolutely sure that there are no edges. No, don’t pay attention to the renderings - these are Chinese. But the screen is really large, and there’s really a lot of memory - 4/64 GB.
If you love this kind of stuff and don’t disdain unofficial supplies and unknown brands, you’re welcome.
Alternative : Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime and Ulefone Mix . There are two alternatives here. Another Redmi, simple and weak, but with a ton of memory. And another smartphone from a well-known brand in narrow circles - with a design like Mi MIX and the same amount of memory. Game, yes, but game worthy of attention.
OUKITEL K5000 - powerful battery
Another budget-class smartphone with a large battery, the OUKITEL K5000 is clad in a metal and plastic body and has an IPS display with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels, covered with rounded 2.5D glass. The model runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS, supports high-speed 4G LTE data transfer, has a fingerprint scanner and 2 SIM card slots. Its 8-core processor - MediaTek MT6750 with a clock frequency of 1500 MHz - is not the most powerful and is not suitable for games, however, with the support of a video accelerator - Mali-T860 MP2 and 4 GB of RAM, it copes with the tasks assigned to it. The main camera of the K5000 is a Sony IMX135 with a resolution of 13 megapixels (interpolation up to 16 megapixels) and has autofocus, HDR shooting and touch focusing functions; The front camera from Samsung shoots with a resolution of up to 16 megapixels. One of the main advantages of the phone is its large battery with a fast charging function with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which allows you to go without recharging your smartphone for a long time.
pros
- Large and bright IPS screen and large battery;
- Good speed;
- Lots of memory.
Minuses
- Heavy, weak cameras;
- Not a very powerful processor;
- Application errors, unstable internet.
Fly Champ - inexpensive smartphones without any special frills
- Inexpensive phone with a 5-inch display covered with 2.5D glass. The hardware power base is not impressive - the Spreadtrum SC9832 chipset, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in flash memory.
- The cameras are typical for a budget employee - an 8-megapixel main one with flash and autofocus and a 2-megapixel selfie camera.
- The operating system is relatively new - Android 7.0. The battery has a capacity of 2150 mAh. The model is available only in black body color.
- Fly Champ is an unremarkable budget phone with an attractive price of 4,490 rubles.
Which budget smartphone is better to buy?
A direct question, as they say. If you want to buy a good budget smartphone, then at a minimum you must decide what the word “good” means to you. Because for some, good means high-quality and durable, but for another person, good means a powerful and productive smartphone. What type are you?
In general, I don't like LG smartphones. In 2021 they are unreasonably expensive. In terms of price/quality, they are definitely somewhere in last place.
And in general, speaking about quality, I dare say that its boundaries are very blurred today. You can buy a Chinese smartphone 3-4 times cheaper than a famous brand and get a very high-quality device. Or, on the contrary, you can pay for “quality” and get poop in a candy wrapper. My personal opinion is that the quality of modern smartphones is approximately the same for all more or less popular brands. Naturally, I do not include all sorts of Texet, Dexp and other similar nonsense among such brands. But some famous “Chinese” (Xiaomi, for example) make quite decent products that are no worse than well-promoted brands with a long history.
The best ultra budget smartphone (up to 6,000 rubles) according to Digital-Boom.ru
If I now wanted to buy myself a good budget smartphone worth up to 6000 (ultra budget), then most likely I would opt for the Fly Cirrus 13 . Ask why? There are good reasons.
Fly Cirrus 13 smartphone - the best ultra budget smartphone
Firstly, its characteristics surpass all smartphones in this price range. Judge for yourself. If 2 GB of RAM on a smartphone today does not surprise anyone, then at least a factory-overclocked processor operating at a frequency of 1.5 GHz is a significant plus. Especially considering that LG generally installed a cut-down processor on its budget phone. Plus, only this smartphone has a screen resolution of 1920x1080 ( Full HD ). Even in smartphones under 10,000 rubles this is rare.
Secondly, design and ergonomics. This budget smartphone from Fly surprisingly has a very nice design. And its metal body (!) is a pleasant addition to the overall picture. And on top of that, it has a fingerprint scanner. Well, you must admit, this is very cool for a budget employee.
Thirdly, I am currently using a Fly IQ444 Quattro phone, and I am more than satisfied with its quality. There is still not a single scratch on the glass, even though it has been with me in many troubles over the 4 years of its life.
Yes, of course Fly has a lot of shitty smartphone models, but some are downright impressive. It’s just that if you decide to buy a smartphone, no matter what price category it is in and no matter how confident you are in its manufacturer, you need to read real reviews on forums specifically about the model that interests you . And from what I have read about the Fly Cirrus 13 , I can say that it is a good model. Personally, I like it. All you have to do is choose gray or red.
The best budget smartphone under 10,000 rubles according to Digital-Boom.ru
There’s nothing to think about here; you can immediately see a smartphone that stands out from the crowd. Our winner in the best budget smartphone category is Xiaomi Redmi 5 3/32GB . And there are very, very many reasons for such a choice.
Xiaomi RedMi 5 3/32Gb Black is the best budget smartphone worth up to 10,000 rubles
- This model was released in 2021 (or at the end of 2021, but this is not very important), which means that all its contents are up to date .
- 3 GB of RAM is enough for exploits in the gaming world.
- Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor , in which each core operates at up to 1.8 GHz . Wow! Goosebumps ran across my skin.
- Display resolution – HD+ in 18x9 format ! This is definitely rare. Believe me, the picture will impress you. Although the world is just beginning to get used to this format.
- The design of the smartphone is also very pleasing to the eye.
- Metal body.
- Fingerprint's scanner.
- The quality of Xiaomi confirms its rapid development in the market.
- I’m not a photo gourmet, but if you believe the reviews and reviews of device owners, the camera is also very good, despite the 12MP resolution that is quite common today.
Any doubts left? Personally, I don't! If suddenly something happens to my phone, then I definitely won’t look for a new one for a long time. We can consider that the choice has been made. Here it is - Xiaomi Redmi 5 3/32GB !
BQ BQ-5522 Next - inexpensive phone made in Russia
An inexpensive smartphone under 5,000 rubles from a Russian brand received a widescreen display and the current version of the operating system.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro: a durable smartwatch
This smartphone is both beautiful and smart. The body of the Mate 10 Pro is stylish and feels very good to the touch, although it slides shamelessly in your hand, so it’s no coincidence that the case included with the device is included in the package. But the screen with HDR10 technology impresses with a bright and rich picture.
One of the main features of the Mate 10 Pro is a dedicated neural processor (NPU - Neural-network Processing Unit). This means that the phone has support for artificial intelligence and machine learning. It's as if the era of cyberpunk has already arrived. Only the chip, which seems like a huge breakthrough, is not capable of very much. The camera can recognize objects and adapt to shooting landscapes, portraits or some cute living creatures. The smartphone can also translate texts caught in the lens. And the smart Mate 10 Pro keeps track of which apps you open most often and, by adding them to something like a VIP list, ensures they launch faster.
At the same time, the smartphone will last a long time from charge to charge: the 4000 mAh battery will provide about two days of active use. The intelligence and durability of this device is nothing short of impressive.
