Another accusation of fraud against companies producing ionization devices concerns the centralized production of anolyte and catholyte. Many are perplexed why the process cannot be put on stream so that anyone can buy a bottle for themselves. But the point is not at all that manufacturers are trying to make money from consumers by selling them home ionizers. The healing properties for the human body are retained in the liquid only for a short time. Ionized water in a bottle would lose its benefits after just a few weeks. This is why mass production simply does not make sense.

For the same reason, it is impossible to ionize tap water. The beneficial properties would not be preserved after traveling several kilometers through pipes. The only way out for those who want to always have ionized water on hand is to use a special device to obtain it.

Here we come to two more popular misconceptions. Both of them relate to the above-mentioned devices - ionizers:

1. Any ionized liquid is better than regular liquid. This is wrong. Unfortunately, there are many counterfeit devices on the market now. They are made from low quality materials and do not perform as intended. Drinking water from such a device is not only unhealthful, but also unsafe for health.
2. You can save on expensive devices and simply put silver jewelry in the liquid. This idea may occur to users familiar with so-called silver coins. Usually they are made in the form of a silver pendant, but sometimes it can be a stick with holes, inside of which there are pieces of tourmaline, hematite, zeolite, magnetite. Manufacturers claim that such a simple device saturates the water with silver ions and semi-precious minerals. The only problem is that all the materials of the products are water-insoluble, which means that their molecules do not interact with the environment in any way. In order for silver ions and other substances to appear in water, an electric current is needed. However, minerals are poor conductors, which means that even in this case the device would be useless.

The truth is simple: you shouldn’t skimp on ionization devices. It is better to trust the experience of world-famous manufacturers and choose a high-quality device that brings health benefits.

Health benefits of living and dead water

In order to understand the benefits of ionized water, you need to understand what the acidity indicator means. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with acidity less than 7 indicating an acidic environment (a small amount of oxygen), 7 indicating a neutral environment, more than 7 and up to 14 indicating an alkaline environment, water contains a lot of oxygen.

If you eat unhealthy foods or abuse strong alcohol, your body becomes acidic. Alkaline water is required to restore a normal environment. You also need to know what ORP means. This parameter indicates whether the liquid is capable of reducing or oxidizing other substances.

When the redox potential is positive, it means that water is oxidizing, that is, taking electrons from cells. As a result, free radicals are formed. All this leads to the occurrence of various diseases. When water has a negative ORP, it means there are free electrons in it, that is, it becomes an antioxidant that restores body cells.

Health benefits of living and dead water

Next, let's look at why ionized living water with an acidity level of 7–12 is so beneficial for the body, especially if you drink it on a regular basis.

• This liquid can neutralize free radicals and has antioxidant properties.
• With its help you can normalize the acid-base balance. If the body is acidified, various diseases begin.
• Alkaline water saturates with oxygen, which leads to increased brain function.
• Reduces the risk of thrombosis, cerebral hemorrhage, hypertension, all this is possible due to the fact that the surface tension and density of alkaline water is less than that of plain water, due to which the blood thins.

Why is dead, that is, acidic, water useful:

• eliminates skin diseases, such as acne and allergies, improves the quality and structure of hair;
• destroys dangerous microorganisms, viruses; acidic water can be used to wash vegetables and fruits, as well as clean the apartment;
• relieves diseases such as sore throat, bronchitis, mycoses, radiculitis, and relieves toothache.
