Yogurt makers, although produced by different manufacturers, are essentially all the same. This is not a complicated device, stuffed with processors and microcircuits. The yogurt maker does not access the Internet, does not send MMS, and you cannot watch movies on it. A typical yogurt maker is a set of 7-8 jars (each with a capacity of 150 or 125 grams, respectively). Jars can be glass or plastic. How to prepare yogurt

Everything is very simple. Mix these components, using a mixer or in a blender. Then pour the resulting mixture into jars of a yogurt maker (preferably as quickly as possible). Attention: there is no need to close the filled jars with lids!

Next, place the jars in the “base” of the yogurt maker. If you do not use all the containers, make sure that those that will go into use are placed closely together. Close the lid of the device. Turn on the timer. This can often be done in two ways - either set it for the time when you started preparing the yogurt (poured the milk mixture into jars), or for the hour when you think the yogurt will be ready. In general, preparing yogurt usually takes 8-10 hours.

When you turn on the yogurt maker, the only thing that will happen is that the operating status indicator will light up. The device will not buzz or otherwise confirm that it has started preparing yogurt. Don't worry - that's how it should be. The process, as they say, has begun. The jars and their contents will be gradually heated, the temperature will be approximately 40-45 ºС and will remain constant until the end of the cycle.

It is worth noting that during the cooking process the yogurt maker cannot be moved or rearranged - it must be at rest. Therefore, take care in advance of a place where the device will not disturb anyone.

After the set time has passed, the device will automatically turn off. Remove the jars from the yogurt maker. They should be warm; you will see condensation on the lid of the device. Just now cover each jar with a lid and put it in the refrigerator. Yogurt will be ready to eat in about an hour and a half. Before this, you are free to add fresh fruits, jam, nuts, sugar, honey. This natural yogurt, which contains no preservatives, can be stored for no more than 10 days.

In addition to the yogurt itself, you can prepare kefir or sour cream in a yogurt maker. On the Internet, on various forums, you can find quite a few reviews about the uselessness of yogurt makers. It seems like you buy it, use it about a dozen times, and then you get lazy, get bored and collect dust somewhere on the top shelf in the farthest closet. Well, that means there is no particular need for a yogurt maker. I should have thought earlier.

A yogurt maker is especially useful in two cases. Firstly, if there are small children in the family, so as not to feed them store-bought products with preservatives, starch and other components that the body does not really need.
