The Aspire 5741G and eMachines E730G, equipped with the same battery, were slightly ahead. However, all three had satisfactory results - none of them lasted even three hours.

The Aspire 5943G took second place, managing to last three and a half hours in reading mode, which is generally not bad for a computer in its class. Its capacious battery turned out to be very useful, otherwise it would have become the last due to the use of the most energy-hungry components.

But the Aspire 5820TG deserves all praise - more than six and a half hours in reading mode. Here we must thank the manufacturer for equipping it with a capacious battery and for the work done on its energy-saving mode. With such a configuration and dimensions it is difficult to achieve high performance. But, on the other hand, Acer positions the TimelineX line as more mobile, so, keeping this in mind, something like this was to be expected.

Under load, the Aspire 5741G and 5943G were the most efficient. The 5745G and 5820TG are slightly behind them. The eMachines E730G closes the row, also with a not very significant margin.

Note that laptops are rarely heavily loaded during battery operation, which is why we recognize the Acer Aspire TimelineX 5820TG as the winner.

The most powerful in this review was the Acer Aspire 5943G. This is a gaming laptop whose performance will satisfy many. It offers an excellent stylish and modern design, high quality workmanship, a metal body, excellent specifications, unique upgrade options (we've never seen four memory slots in a laptop) and an excellent (for laptops) sound subsystem with a subwoofer. It doesn't run on battery power for a record long time, but considering all of the above, its performance is very good. Thus, we have before us a full-fledged replacement for a desktop computer in a compact 15.6” case. Of course, such a mobile PC costs a lot - not everyone can pay 70 thousand. But for its class this is a very attractive price.

The Acer Aspire TimelineX 5820TG can be called a truly versatile laptop. Judge for yourself: it has high performance, is even capable of running modern games in good quality, is equipped with a capacious hard drive and a battery that will provide impressive battery life. As a result, you can take such a computer with you on a long trip (it also weighs less than others) or use it as a home (read: gaming) or work computer. And its cost cannot be called very high.

The Acer Aspire 5745G is similar in many ways to the TimelineX 5820TG, but it costs less. The main difference between them is the battery - the Aspire 5745G comes with smaller batteries. However, if you do not plan to often use it away from an outlet, then there is no point in overpaying. This excellent multimedia model can handle any movie, and you can also play games. Multimedia use of the Acer Aspire 5745G is also enhanced by Dolby Home Theater support.

The “young ones” – Acer Aspire 5741G and eMachines E730G – are general-purpose laptops that are suitable for a wide range of tasks. Modern games, of course, do not feel so confident on them, but if you lower the graphics quality settings and disable heavy anti-aliasing and filtering modes, then you can play quite well. Everything else: web surfing, working with documents, playing video and audio, processing photos, and so on, they can do. Their main advantage is the price. At a cost of 23-26 thousand, they provide a very decent level of performance and mobility.

And about all laptops I would like to say about excellent ergonomics. They all have a keyboard with a very good layout and a number pad, as well as a large touchpad.
