In Hotpoint-Ariston Aqualtis washing machines without a screen (models AQSL, AQ9L, AQS0L, etc.), error F 06 will be indicated by flashing temperature indicators of 30°C and 40°C (the second and third temperature light from the bottom, respectively).

Error F06 or F6 is displayed only on Hotpoint-Ariston washing machines with an electronic controller on the Arcadia platform (all models of the Low-End line, the Aqualtis series and some others) and on Ariston models of the Dialogic series (starting with AD, ALD, AXD and some others) . And means:

Problems in the UBL (hatch locking device) circuit in models with an Arcadia control module.
Problems with control buttons or program selector for Dalogic series machines.

Testing faults

Perhaps due to vibrations during operation, some connector in the UBL circuit came loose, and therefore the machine shows error F 06.
